As I'm still new to blender I am looking into what effects I could potentially create, as I am not sure what would be best for an environment piece. The one piece I was very excited in doing and was something I wanted for the start was a little stream going through the back of the piece as this would be quite a nice touch as well as me being able to use different ambient sounds when overlaying in the final stages. I used this tutorial https://youtu.be/MtlSIRh5r_E?si=IVGYjWCvdfGloT36. This was very useful to me and helped with my confidence a little as it was a little similar to what I have done/produced in Unreal before.
As you can see by the image and video below I was able to creating a moving water texture by moving a maps location in two different directions and inserting keyframes in order to create the effect.
I have also been looking into creation of clouds and how to produce a backing for the environment. I have researched and gathered my sources to see I can produce this. Due to me being unable to work on campus all the time I had to remove this from my plan as it would become quite time consuming. This is something I can add when I have more free time after the project.
