Putting everything into blender was quite a task as I had quite a few props to transfer/import over from Maya. Due to the masses amount on props to move over as well as everything else within the scene I have decided upon creating separate turntable for each area of the environment. I found this to be a more efficient and easy option for me as it was as stressful and a more manageable situation. After doing this I was able to manage the layout of what I want to submit. Before rendering I took screen shots of each section then added it to a line up in Adobe premiere, this gave me better visuals of what needed to be done and what timeframe would be sufficient for the overall video submission. The first take was around three minutes long however was able to figure out what needed to go or what could be shortened, managed to cut it below 2:30 minutes.
Once I completed the turnarounds next on my list was the environment as a whole, this is where it got a little tricky. Even though I was able to create an environment piece with all the props, things began to become very slow on my laptop along side the texture application.
Not being able to be a hinderance , but to be fair the computers were a little slow as-well. As i didn't have much time I removed some pieces from the environment and attempted to render a non-textured version. This helped and clearly shows my vision in the video submission.
If I were to do this project again I would research more about the software and also calculate roughly two/three weeks to render so if any complications happened it would give time to rectify.
I advise always underestimate rendering time as I have had many issues regarding this and give time to reflect on if anything needs changes and try again.
I have removed a couple of models from the final piece as I feel it didn't really fit with the theme of what I imagined and also, having so many props within a scene could cause the audience to not know what to look as well as causing softwares to slow.
