As you can see by the previous post I have decided to develop The Cat and Mental Health idea as this is the one I was more drawn to and express my personal day to day life. The basis of the story is about a visual representation of mental health on the back of a young woman and that thing eventually getting smaller as time goes on because of the interactions between the young woman and her cat.
Expanding upon the idea has been a little tricky as it is such a simple story but think this will helped once I expand the characters of the piece and give it more of a visual storytelling. I am more on the design/creative side of thing so thought it would be best to expand on this through the piece by keeping minimal talking scenes and more focussed on gestures, this is so nothing is taken away from the story being told.
As you can see through the attachment shown below, I have tried to separate and put the main shots into different sections, morning, afternoon and evening, this is so it will be easier to decipher what is happening and what would be needed in the scenes, if I didn't separate I would of most likely found it hard to pin point what props are needed in the environment, what mood should be created etc.
Update!!!
I have made the decision to not change the story from what I have written so far as it tells the story correctly and their is no holes within it. As I am not used to writing down stories or trying to figure out how they would work, I am proud of myself that I have delved into the story and not made near to no changes, as this is quite a personal piece I am very involved in the story and know I am making the correct decision.
