As I find scripting quite hard for a story I thought it will be best to start off with some rough storyboarding to expand on what I have written about what happens within the story (synopsis/treatment). As for a few weeks I wasn't able to progress with as much work as I liked this was ideal to do within the spare time I had, rough sketches to portray what will happen. I have created a bunch of rough sketches to help visually show the story, even though they are very simple they are easily followed and understood. After drafting out the storyboards of different parts of the day within the short film I have decided upon the storyboard consisting of the main focus being the bedroom then the kitchen. The story shown is quite simple however, with the added visual representation of mental health, the transition of dull and vivid colour and the sweet interaction between the two characters makes the story more interesting and visually appealing.

I have come to the decision to progress with the story from the first storyboard that is shown above. This part of the story will really show the how mental health can effect the start of your day and really helps show the visual representation of this also as it will be quite large in size and will be causing the character to hunch a little due to the weight on the young woman's shoulders. I have decided to shorten the story slightly to the characters ending with walking down the stairs. Thinking in the potential future of the project I think this would be the best ending as it could be expanded upon in the future and would mean that not as many environment changes would be made and also will be more time effective for production within my masters degree.
