For the front garden is going to be very simple as I don’t want the environment to be over complicated and busy. This area is going to be spacious grass with the bushes outlining the shape. I was thinking having it populated with native British wildflowers and certain sections and maybe a water fountain however, I think simplicity will be more visually appealing against the bungalow and the driveway.
Like the front garden I wanted the driveway to be quite simple in design and that it wont take away from the car that will be on it. I was looking at potential borders such as wooden fencing stone or brick wall. For the final design I decided to go with wooden fencing, something that looks like the fencing around the vegetable patch. I have done this so the front and the back of the environment has some form of continuity.
For the ground I wanted something man mad such as gravel or brick work, for practicality for the car and also so it gives me a variety of textures to play around with in the following assignment.
As there is a driveway on the environment I wanted to add a car so it would be empty and more intriguing to look at. Because I want to create a soft look I began gaining ideas and sketched out a curved car, something similar to a beetle or an old Morris Minor. The first iteration was slightly stylised but for the prop I wanted to push the shape more. The final piece shows that I push the stylisation to make a curved car. At this time it is blue however this may change in my thought process while creating the 3D model and texturing.
