Ready to Write a Script

As I am a more visually creative person rather than written like I have previously said, I have decided upon storyboarding the story first and then adding descriptive sections after completing the script. As the basis of the story is quite simple but more visually appealing I have decided that it will be best to have only a little and not too much talking within the piece, too much talking will take away from the visuals as well as the close bond the young woman and cat has.

In the past even though I love creating/developing ideas and stories I have never really delved into script writing with recent projects over the past few years, so this really freshened my mind to something almost new to me. At first I struggle trying to get the correct layout so I started with just adding the description of the setting, adding the what the characters are doing and then possible talking parts. This was all in one document but not looking like a industry standard so after looking at a few examples online and having a little help with one to one with the lecturer I was able to create the correct format for the script. The last thing I needed to add was the correct abbreviations for things such as the camera shots which was easily added to make a fully completed script.

I am very happy with the end result, even though it is simple, it is very effective and easily followed.
